I always considered Tom Hanks a great actor. In the past days I was talking with my mate Cosmin about movies. He used to see more movies than I did. So the subject was Tom Hanks’ movies. I presented in a short way my personal favourite “Green Mile”. Cosmin recommended me another movie called “The terminal”.
So, after the 48 hours post (48-de-ore), early in the morning (on saturday) I saw the movie. It Is a about a guy from a country called Kracozia who came to New York to fulfill his father’s last wish: to put into a box the last signature of a jazz musician from a New York band. The father was a huge fan of the band and he gained the signature of all band members except one. So, Victor has to accomplish it. But he had to be very patient and waits for some months to clarify his situation. After a coup d’etat in Kracozia, Victor has to stay in the airport untill his country is free a again. Victor became a hero in the airport for different facts and he learned how to handle a situation which for a normal person can be hard. He fall in love with Amelia (Catherine Zeta Jones) and he was very dissapointed in the end. But, as an optimistic person he follows his way and as a patient person he performs his father’s last wish.
The ethics for this movie is that a precious moment has to be lived even if comes after a long waiting period. For example if love comes to you at the age of 40 u have to be positive and live with it.
